Our approach / Handle with care

Your systems.
Your data.
Our watch.

We approach remote support and data rescue with the discipline of a naval mission: understand the situation, agree the objective, and make every action count.

Behind every device is someone's work, school day, livelihood or irreplaceable memory. That deserves patience, clear communication and care.

Brief us on the problem →
The mission plan

Calm decisions.
Careful execution.

No two incidents are the same. This is the approach we bring to a remote support session or an assessment of a data-loss problem.

  1. Listen before acting.

What happened? What changed? What must be protected? We start with your account of the problem and identify the most important systems and files.

  2. Agree the mission.

We clarify the scope, price and access needed. You know what you are authorising, and any additional work needs your approval.

  3. Check the conditions.

We look at the available information, backup situation and risks. If remote work is unsuitable, we explain why before discussing another route.

  4. Preserve before changing.

We consider how to protect existing data before making changes. Where practical and appropriate, that means a backup or working copy and a clear plan for recovery.

  5. Work with purpose.

We take agreed steps, check the result and explain important changes. If the risk or scope changes, we pause and discuss the next move with you.

  6. Leave you informed.

We review the outcome with you, explain anything unresolved and discuss practical next steps. Temporary access should be removed when the session is complete.

Important / Data recovery

100% data recovery
is never guaranteed.

Recovery depends on the drive’s condition, the type of damage and the conditions it has been exposed to—including heat, moisture, physical impact and electrical damage. Continued use or previous repair attempts can also affect what can be recovered. Some data may be permanently lost.

Different scale. The same care.

From a single school workstation to a server supporting a multimillion-rand business, we approach every drive with the same care, respect and attention. The equipment may differ. The importance of your data does not.

When the mission is data rescue

Irreplaceable means
handle with care.

Lost files can carry far more value than the device they lived on. Our first step is to understand what happened and whether remote assistance is appropriate.

Recovery depends on the condition of the storage, what happened to the data and what has happened since. Some cases need a specialist physical recovery service. We will explain the limits of what we can offer; recovery is never guaranteed.

People first. Every session.

You stay in command.

You can ask what we are doing, request an explanation or end a remote connection. Our aim is for you to understand the work—not feel locked out of your own technology.

Availability, scope and location restrictions apply. See our terms and conditions. The naval language describes our approach; it does not imply military affiliation or certification.
